Justine Mcdonnell 2017-2018

Justine McDonnell (b. 1992, Dublin, Ireland) lives and works in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She completed a masters in Fine Art at the University of Ulster, Belfast. She completed her BA in Fine Art at the Dublin School of Creative Arts in 2015.  Having served on the board of Platform Arts, Belfast for the past year, McDonnell has recently been appointed as chair of the board. She is a co-founder of a sound collective Oscillate and the live performance platform Stance.

McDonnell has recently been selected for The 2017 MAC Curatorial Directions Programme, Belfast. She is a recipient of the Flax Arts Studios Graduate Residency Award 2017 and the British Council, Steward Fellowship Award at the Venice Biennale.
